Architecture Project shortlisted at World Architecture Festival 2009
The shortlisted projects for the finals of the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2009, to be held in Barcelona over the 4th, 5th and 6th of November 2009, were announced last August and including a project designed by Architecture Project.
The project, which was chosen as a finalist in the Future Commercial Projects category, is entitled ‘Corporate Village’. The design seeks to regenerate part of a brownfield site, allowing the area to take on an identity as a corporate arena housing mainly offices but also functioning as a one-stop-shop for various other activities including retail, dining, sports and leisure, broadcasting and media, and childcare services.
The project will be presented to a board of judges on the 5th November 2009, in a ten minute presentation at the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona as part of a two-day long judging process which will determine the winners of each of the competition categories forming part of the competition and an overall winner.
